WELCOME!

I am Irisa Zhou, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Indiana University, Bloomington. My research understands how microeconomic constraints shape macroeconomic consequences.

Questions that interest me:

  • How do information frictions distort the labor market?
  • How do innate advantages (such as socio-economic endowments or prior accumulation upon shocks) scale up to influence the aggregate economy?
